Soak the soybeans overnight in 2 to 3 cups of water. This will soften the soybeans and prepare them for blending.
Drain of the water, and then rinse the soybeans thoroughly to remove dirt or contaminants.
Remove Skins as much as possible by rubbing beans underwater. Skins will float up to the surface and can be removed by skimming. You don't have to remove all of them.
Blend the soybeans with 4 cups water in a blender.
Blend until it is smooth.
Strain using a Cheesecloth, or a Nut Milk Bag. We recommend these organic nut milk bags because of their durability and efficiency.
Heat the milk in a heavy bottom pan until it reaches 212oF. Keep the temperature at 212oF (100oC) for 20 minutes. Stir frequently to avoid sticking. This step is important because, as a bean, soy cannot be eaten raw.
Store the milk in the refrigerator. You can store it in the refrigerator for up to four days.
