This recipe is easy to make and only requires 1 or 2 ingredients. It takes less than 10 minutes. Making it is still a lot of fun! It's fun to see the peanuts turn into the creamiest, smoothest nutbutter you've seen. The oozy texture is superior to any brand of nut butter I've ever tried. And the rich flavor of peanuts is unmatched. You'll be unable to stop eating it!
How to Make Peanut Butter
Add the peanuts to the bowl of the food processor and process until smooth. Stopping to scrape the sides every 30 seconds, or so. It may not appear that the peanuts will blend into a smooth butter when you begin grinding them. You can trust me that they will. You do not need to add vegetable oil.
They’ll start chunky. They’ll then form a shaggy, rounded ball. Lastly, they will blend into creamy peanut butter. Allow the food processor to run for as long as needed to make the mixture smooth. It can be stored in an airtight jar or container at room temperature for up to a month. Enjoy!

Peanut Butter Recipes
Are you ready to learn how to make your peanut butter? Before you begin, there are some things you need to know:
- This recipe is simple but requires patience. You will need to let your food processor run for about 10 minutes (including breaks) before the nuts are smooth and spreadable.
- Stopping the food processor frequently is important. Making nut butter at home can be tough on a motor. This is also an excellent time to clean the sides of your bowl.
- You should use peanuts in proportion to the size and capacity of your food processor. In my 7-cup processor, I use three cups of peanuts. You’ll need to add more nuts if your food processor is larger.
- All you need is dry-roasted peanuts and perhaps some salt. This recipe can be made with either salted or unsalted peanuts. If yours are not salted, season them to taste at the end.
Ingredient
- 3 cups of dry-roasted and salted or unsalted peanuts
- If using peanuts that have not been salted, add sea salt to taste
Instructions
- Place the peanuts into a medium-sized food processor. * Process until smooth. Stopping every 30 seconds or 1 minute, if necessary, to scrape down the sides of the bowl and give the motor a rest. At first, the mixture will look chunky. It will first thicken and form a ball. Then it will smoothen and become creamy. It should take 8-10 minutes to complete the process.
