Basic Rice Flour Crepes Recipe

The gluten-free crepes are made from white rice flour. They are light and delicious, so you wouldn't know. You can make these rice flour crepes for breakfast, dessert or as part of a dish.

  • 1  10-inch crepe pan Use Non-stick pan

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup milk or alternative milk
  • 2 tbsp orange-flavored liqueur, orange juice, or sweetener
  • 1 tbsp butter or buttery spread Melted
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 pcs Eggs Beaten
  • 1 cup white rice flour

Instructions
 

  • In a medium mixing bowl, beat eggs. Add the milk, orange-flavored liquor (or orange juice) and butter.
    Mix the ingredients together.
  • Add the white rice flour, salt and baking soda. Mix the ingredients thoroughly and then blend until smooth.
  • Heat a nonstick skillet on medium heat, lightly greased.
  • Pour 1/4 cup batter in a skillet, and swirl it to distribute evenly. Cook crepes for 30 seconds on each side, or until they begin to brown.
  • Flip the crepe with a spatula, and cook the other side 30 seconds or until it begins to brown. Keep the crepe warm in the oven.
  • Continue until all the batter has been used.
  • Keep unfinished crepes in a refrigerator in an airtight container.
