Pork belly braised in chicken stock, oranges & dried chili, topped with peach salsa and a fresh herb chimichurri —Served on 8 handmade corn tortillas.

Easy to prepare and comes with instructions - serves two people (8 tortillas).

Dietary Information

Ingredients:

Pork, salt, olive oil, paprika, cumin, coriander,
chicken stock, orange, chilli, bay leaf, corn
masa, water, vegetable oil, parsley, kale, peach,
tomatillo, lime, vinegar, black pepper, tomato
puree, sugar, garlic, tomato, white onion.

Contains: nuts, gluten and dairy.

Storage

Refrigerate up to 6 days, to be consumed within 3 days of opening. Store in the freezer for up to 6 months.

Preparation

Defrost before cooking by leaving in the fridge for 24-48 hours.
Give the salsas a good stir after defrosting.


Pork - Pan Fry
1. Heat a pan or skillet over medium-high heat,
and add enough oil to cover the surface.
2. Add the pork and fry until golden and crispy (this should only take a few minutes). Spread out the pork slices so they have enough space to crisp up.

(or) Pork - Oven
1. Place the pork slices on a baking tray lined with
backing paper, and grill in a hot oven at 200C for
5-10 minutes.
2. Remove from the oven when golden and crispy.

Tortillas
1. Heat a pan or skillet over medium-high heat
(do not add oil).
2. Once hot, add the tortillas (one at a time) and
cook on each side for 10-15 seconds.

Assembly
1. Place a warm tortilla on serving dish.
2. Add a spoonful of chimichurri on the bottom then
place 1-2 slices of pork and top with peach salsa.
