Ewa Agonyin has a soft, mushy texture and a spicy, tasty sauce. Traditionally, it’s a very popular Nigerian street food. It’s made with white beans which are soaked overnight and then cooked until extremely soft or mashed. In Nigeria, this dish is often accompanied with a spicy tomato stew with a good kick of pepper. You are likely to find it there where it’s known colloquially as 'Ewa G'.

Ewa Agonyin is delicious eaten by itself as a snack or light lunch or dinner. Alternatively, you can enjoy it with soft bread, boiled yams, and fried plantains for a more complete meal. Each order serves just one, making it the perfect quick and easy indulgent meal. If you’re feeding friends or family just be sure to order multiples so no one goes hungry.
